DSE Transport Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an Operations Coordinator to sit on the Sydney metro operations desk at Minchinbury. You will coordinate afternoon runs, track drivers, update customers, and keep the day moving smoothly.

This role emphasizes planning and organisation, with mornings spent setting up the next day and resolving issues quickly. You will work closely with allocators and drivers, keeping schedules accurate and compliant.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, freight forwarding, warehousing or dispatch.
• Ability to stay calm with multiple tasks and calls.
• Clear, direct communication with drivers and customers.
• High accuracy to avoid errors in addresses or notes.
• Comfort with software and in-house systems.

Responsibilities

• Allocate customer jobs to drivers and track them through the day.
• Answer calls and emails from customers and drivers with a 15-minute response standard.
• Monitor unassigned jobs and keep runs on schedule.
• Maintain job notes, bookings and driver availability in the system.
• Chase outstanding paperwork so billing remains clean.
• Perform daily compliance and fatigue checks.
• Log customer service issues, delays and breakdowns before home time.
• Cover allocators when they are on leave.
