Job summary

Toll Group is seeking a Transport Supervisor for the Minchinbury, NSW area on a 12-month fixed term contract. The role oversees daily transport activities, coordinates drivers and fleet movements, and ensures safe, on-time deliveries across the Sydney basin.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day operations, drive service targets, and maintain safety, compliance, and customer outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a transport, logistics, fleet, or operations supervisory position.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exposure to transport operations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and Fatigue Management practices is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily transport operations and labour resources to achieve service level targets.
• Manage the dispatch of drivers, trucks, and shipments to ensure on-time delivery performance.
• Promote and champion a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with OHS and site requirements.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, customers, and operational stakeholders.
• Monitor delivery performance and proactively resolve operational issues and delays.
• Drive operational efficiency while supporting profitability and customer satisfaction objectives.
