Johnstons Transport Industries in Smithfield NSW is seeking a detail-oriented Invoicing Clerk to join the admin team. You will ensure invoices are accurate, capture transport and warehouse charges, and respond to customer queries.

The role requires strong organisational skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a busy operation, with emphasis on data accuracy and adherence to procedures.

Formación

• Experience in transport invoicing or similar is preferred.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Good communication and customer service.
• Ability to work in a busy operational environment.
• Proactive problem solving and discrepancy resolution.
• Proficient with computer systems and data recording.
• Commitment to health and safety and company policies.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices within required timeframes, ensuring all transport and warehouse charges are correctly captured.
• Verify job sheets, driver run sheets, PODs and other supporting documentation.
• Process credit notes, investigate discrepancies and assist with resolving invoice queries.
• Respond to customer enquiries regarding invoices and follow up on outstanding payments as required.
• Maintain accurate records and data across internal systems, supporting reporting and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to verify job details, resolve inconsistencies and improve invoicing accuracy.
