Dynamic Distribution Systems is seeking an experienced Transport Internal Sales & Operations Coordinator for the afternoons to join our Cannon Hill team. You will secure bookings, match jobs to vehicles, and liaise with drivers and operations to ensure smooth delivery across Brisbane and nationally.

You’ll onboard contractors, maintain compliance, and manage data entry and queries while supporting the afternoon shift and fostering strong client relationships that keep us first choice for

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience in transport, logistics, courier or freight.
• Strong outbound calling and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of vehicle types and capacities from vans to 8-tonne trucks.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office and transport systems.

Transport Internal Sales & Operations Coordinator (Afternoons)

Transport background and a natural on the phone? Join us in an internal sales and operations role where you’ll turn calls into jobs.

Dynamic Distribution Systems runs a courier and taxi truck fleet across Brisbane and nationally. We’re looking for an experienced transport professional with great phone skills to drive bookings and look after our afternoon shift from our Cannon Hill office.

This role suits someone from the transport and logistics industry who also has the gift of the gab. You’ll be calling clients, building rapport and securing bookings for our fleet, then working with drivers and the operations team to match each job to the right vehicle and get it delivered. You’ll need to know your way around the industry, from vehicle sizes and capacities to what a job actually involves on the road.

Our operations run across a morning and an afternoon shift, and this role owns the afternoon. We’re happy to discuss hours with the right person.

What you’ll be doing

Calling existing and new clients to secure bookings and grow the work flowing to our fleet

Building strong, ongoing relationships with clients so they think of us first

Matching jobs to the right vehicles, and working with drivers and the operations team to allocate and cover them

Being the reliable, knowledgeable voice for clients and drivers during the afternoon shift

Onboarding new contractors and keeping their compliance up to date (licences, insurances, registrations and inductions)

Data entry, and following up driver pay and customer charge queries

Handing over clearly to the morning team so nothing falls through the cracks

What we’re looking for

At least [2] years’ experience in transport, logistics, courier or freight, ideally in internal sales, customer service, allocations or dispatch

A solid understanding of vehicle types and capacities, from vans through to 2-tonne, 4-tonne, 6-tonne and 8-tonne trucks and semis, and which job suits which vehicle

A working knowledge of pallets, tail-lifts, loading and site access requirements

You’re confident making outbound calls, building relationships and asking for the business

You can keep track of the details while juggling calls

A down-to-earth style that works well with clients, drivers and office staff alike

You’re comfortable with Microsoft Office and transport systems
