Job summary

Hi-Trans Express is seeking an Operations Administrator to join the Rocklea afternoon/evening team. This casual role runs from 3PM to around 8:30PM, focusing on supporting daily transport operations and providing front-line admin support to drivers and customers.

Applicants should have strong computer skills, Excel proficiency, and excellent communication. Prior transport or logistics experience is valued but training will be provided.

Operations Administrator – PM Shift (Casual)

Location: Rocklea, QLD 4106

Hi-Trans Express is seeking a motivated and reliable Operations Administrator to join our afternoon/evening operations team in Rocklea. Hours will be initially 3PM to around 8:30PM. This casual role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working as part of a team to keep transport operations running efficiently.

As an Operations Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting our daily operations, ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time while providing excellent support to drivers and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• General administration duties

• Driver debriefing

• Manifesting freight

• Data entry and document processing

• Communicating with drivers, customers and internal staff

• Assisting the Operations team with daily transport requirements

• Maintaining accurate records and operational documentation

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Previous transport or logistics experience is highly regarded but not essential, as training will be provided to the right candidate.
