Job summary

Rocklea, QLD — Linfox is seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to support our transport operation. This hands-on role keeps daily activities moving safely and efficiently, from allocating vehicles to reviewing reports and engaging with customers, while ensuring compliance with operational and safety requirements.

You will coordinate resources, maximise payloads, support safe practices, conduct toolbox talks, and maintain driver records.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of general freight operations, including load restraints and basic warehousing processes.
• Working knowledge of relevant Australian transport rules and regulations.
• Confident communication and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously without losing accuracy.
• Sound reporting and administration capability.
• SAP warehousing experience would be advantageous.
• A proactive mindset and a commitment to safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transport resources and support efficient day-to-day operations.
• Maximise vehicle payloads and support commercially sound transport outcomes.
• Support safe work practices and compliance with Linfox WHS requirements.
• Conduct weekly toolbox talks and help coordinate mandatory driver training.
• Maintain driver competency and training records.
• Support accurate and timely operational reporting.
• Build strong relationships with drivers, customers and internal teams to keep freight moving safely.
• Coordinate driver leave and support employee development.
• Assist the Transport Manager with HR, safety and performance processes that drive continual improvement.
