Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an organised transport coordination professional for our Melbourne-area customer site. You will oversee daily outbound freight preparation, labeling, and dispatch while liaising with customer care and CEVA Transport Operations to maintain accuracy and service levels.

The role blends administrative tasks with hands-on warehousing duties, with typical hours Monday to Friday, 10:00am–6:00pm. Experience in logistics or dispatch is highly valued.

• Experience using Outlook and Excel; comfortable with workplace systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal teams and customers.
• Background in administration, warehousing, logistics, dispatch or similar operational environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as CEVA’s primary onsite transport coordination contact at the customer warehouse facility.
• Ensure all freight presented for transport is appropriately packaged, labelled and palletised in line with agreed standards.
• Coordinate daily collections with CEVA Transport Operations, communicating changes to volumes, priorities or service requirements.
• Monitor service performance and elevate transport deviations, damages or discrepancies in real time.
• Provide accurate shipment updates to Customer Care to support ETA management and SLA compliance.
• Participate in operational meetings, toolbox talks and performance reviews with site stakeholders.
• Generate operational reports and maintain accurate records, verifying consignment data against physical freight.
• Support safe and compliant transport activities in line with Chain of Responsibility obligations and CEVA SOPs.

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Transport Manager, you'll support the day-to-day preparation and coordination of outbound freight at our customer site in Mickleham.

Working closely with the customer, warehouse team and internal stakeholders, you'll ensure freight is accurately prepared, labelled, checked and ready for dispatch. You'll also help maintain accurate system records, complete reporting and assist with resolving day-to-day operational issues.

This role combines administrative and hands-on operational tasks in a warehouse environment, typical working hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00am to 6:00pm.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We're looking for a organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working in a operational environment. Whether your background is in administration, warehousing, logistics, customer service or a similar role, you'll bring a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills, including experience using Outlook, Excel and workplace systems
• Good communication skills and the confidence to work with internal teams and customers
• A proactive approach and willingness to learn new processes and systems
• Previous experience in administration, warehousing, logistics, dispatch, pick packing or other operational environments will be highly regarded.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
