Job summary

Evolution Precast, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking a Transport Coordinator to plan and coordinate deliveries from manufacturing facilities to construction sites across NSW. You will work with Production, Project teams, transport providers, and client representatives to ensure safe, on-time deliveries and aligned schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transport coordination, dispatch, supply chain, or operational support roles.
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organisational capability.
• Experience coordinating transport providers and delivery schedules.
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and transport compliance requirements advantageous.

• Coordinate all product dispatch and delivery activities across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Develop and maintain delivery schedules aligned with production outputs and project requirements.
• Liaise with Production teams to ensure products are ready for dispatch in accordance with project schedules.
• Coordinate external transport providers to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries.
• Monitor delivery performance and proactively resolve transport or logistics issues.
• Maintain accurate logistics records, delivery schedules, transport documentation, and operational reporting.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, we are seeking an organised and proactive Transport Coordinator to join our operations team.

This is a critical operational role responsible for coordinating the safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of precast products from our manufacturing facilities to construction sites across NSW.

Coordinate deliveries across major Building & Infrastructure Projects

This is a critical operational role responsible for coordinating the safe, efficient, and on-time delivery of precast products from our manufacturing facilities to construction sites across NSW.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Transport Coordinator will be responsible for planning and coordinating all product deliveries, ensuring production outputs are seamlessly transitioned from the factory to project sites.

Working closely with Production, Project teams, transport providers, and client representatives, you will coordinate delivery schedules, manage logistics activities, oversee transport providers, and ensure products are delivered safely, on time, and in accordance with project requirements.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and has strong planning, communication, and organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate all product dispatch and delivery activities across multiple manufacturing facilities.

• Develop and maintain delivery schedules aligned with production outputs and project requirements.

• Liaise with Production teams to ensure products are ready for dispatch in accordance with project schedules.

• Coordinate external transport providers to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective deliveries.

• Manage communication between Production, Project teams, transport providers, and client site representatives.

• Coordinate site delivery requirements including access restrictions, crane bookings, delivery windows, and unloading arrangements.

• Monitor delivery performance and proactively resolve transport or logistics issues.

• Maintain accurate logistics records, delivery schedules, transport documentation, and operational reporting.

• Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and company transport procedures.

• Identify opportunities to improve logistics efficiency, transport performance, and customer service outcomes.

• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage changing priorities.

• Experience within manufacturing, precast, construction, industrial, or project-based environments highly regarded.

• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation and transport compliance requirements advantageous.

• Experience using ERP, logistics, or transport management systems highly regarded.
