Job summary

Evolution Precast is seeking a Site Coordinator to oversee day-to-day operations for construction projects in the Sydney Metro area. This full-time role focuses on supervising teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring on-time delivery with quality and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a supervisory role, strong communication skills, and the ability to interpret technical drawings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or foreperson role within construction
• Strong understanding of construction processes and precast experience preferred though not essential
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Proven track record delivering projects on time and within budget
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency with construction management software and related tools

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the work of construction teams and subcontractors to meet timelines, quality, and safety standards
• Communicate progress, address challenges, and implement solutions with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders
• Monitor and report on labour, materials, and equipment usage and project performance

Job description

As a Site Coordinator at Evolution Precast you will play a vital role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction projects in Sydney Metro area. This full-time position is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction professional to apply their supervisory skills and expertise to ensure the successful delivery of our projects.

What you'll be doing

Coordinate and oversee the work of construction teams and subcontractors to ensure project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met

Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to effectively communicate progress, address challenges, and implement solutions

Monitor and report on project performance, including labour, materials, and equipment usage

Identify and resolve operational issues on site in a timely manner

Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to support their professional development

What we're looking for

Experience (3+ years) in a similar supervisory or foreperson role within the construction industry

Strong understanding of construction processes (Precast experience preferable, however not essential), methods, and materials, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications

Proven track record of effectively managing and coordinating construction teams to deliver projects on time and within budget

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders

Ability to problem-solve, make decisions, and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment

Proficient in the use of construction management software and technologies

Experience with multiple construction management platforms and technical software systems an advantage

Australian Permanent Residency or Australian citizenship required
