Job summary

Thiess is seeking a Training Co-ordinator to lead the Health, Safety & Training Team at Mount Pleasant, NSW. You will ensure training programs meet compliance, optimize safety and operational efficiency, and manage learning materials and audits.

You will work with operational leads to schedule and deliver training, while developing robust training plans and skill matrices to close gaps and enhance performance across the site.

Qualifications

• TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is required.
• G1, G2, G8 and G9 qualifications (formerly S1 S2 S3).
• Proven capability to lead and develop a high performing team.
• Experience in managing a project-based training needs analysis, skills matrix and training plans.
• Strong administrative skills and experience in online training systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the training team to deliver best practice training and education programs.
• Schedule, deliver and align training with organisational needs.
• Ensure site training programs comply with health and safety management system and legislation.
• Monitor and report project performance against training deliverables.
• Develop or source training programs to meet specific needs.
• Develop and review learning and assessment material.
• Deliver in-class learning and assessment.
• Maintain site Training Needs Analysis (TNA) and skills matrices.
• Develop, implement and maintain site training plans and proficiency-based outcomes.
• Prepare materials for annual audit schedules.
• Oversee resourcing and development of Trainers and Assessors.
