Job summary

Bravus Mining & Resources is recruiting a Training Coordinator for the Carmichael Mine in central Queensland.

The role reports to the Superintendent – Safety and Training and ensures training systems meet legislative, organisational and site standard compliance. The roster is 9 days on, 5 days off, with openness to alternatives for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling of training, inductions and verification of competencies.
• Liaising with trainers to schedule and deliver training.
• Deliver training to meet TNA compliance.
• Tracking training compliance and currency for all site personnel.
• Assisting in the development, review and implementation of training materials, packages and site procedures.
• Supporting standardisation of training processes.
• Supporting competency assessments and training plans for department leadership.

We are recruiting for an Training Coordinator for the Carmichael Mine, which is a 10mtpa coal mine located north-west of Clermont in central Queensland.

About the Role

Reporting to the Superintendent – Safety and Training, the Training Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring training systems meet legislative, organisational and site standard compliance requirements.

The roster for this position is 9 days on, 5 days off roster - though we're open to discussing alternative roster arrangements for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling of training, inductions and verification of competencies
• Liaising with trainers (internal, external, RTOs) to schedule and deliver training
• Deliver training to meet TNA compliance
• Tracking training compliance and currency for all site personnel
• Assisting in the development, review and implementation of training materials, packages and site procedures
• Supporting standardisation of training processes
• Supporting department leadership with competency assessments and training plans

About you

• Experience in the development of training collateral
• To have strong organisational and scheduling capability
• To be an excellent communicator with stakeholders at all levels
• An ability to professionally present material to a large workforce
• To be flexible, adaptable and work well under pressure

• Cert IV in Training and Assessment (additional tertiary education desirable)
