Job summary

Bravus Mining & Resources, an Australian company delivering regional Queensland opportunities, is recruiting a Training Coordinator for the Carmichael Mine near Clermont. This role reports to the Superintendent – Safety and Training to ensure training systems meet compliance.

The 9 days on, 5 days off roster offers flexibility, with an emphasis on coordinating inductions, managing competency assessments, and developing training materials for a large workforce across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience in developing training collateral.
• Strong organisational and scheduling capability.
• Excellent communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to professionally present training material to a large workforce.
• Flexible, adaptable and able to work under pressure.
• Desirable: Cert IV in Training and Assessment or higher education.

Responsibilities

• Schedule training, inductions and verify competencies.
• Coordinate with internal/external trainers and RTOs to deliver training.
• Deliver training to meet TinA (Training Needs Analysis) compliance.
• Track training compliance and currency for all site personnel.
• Assist in developing, reviewing and implementing training materials and site procedures.
• Support standardisation of training processes and competency assessments.

We are recruiting for an Training Coordinator for the Carmichael Mine, which is a 10mtpa coal mine located north-west of Clermont in central Queensland.

About the Role

Reporting to the Superintendent – Safety and Training, the Training Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring training systems meet legislative, organisational and site standard compliance requirements.

The roster for this position is 9 days on, 5 days off roster - though we're open to discussing alternative roster arrangements for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling of training, inductions and verification of competencies
• Liaising with trainers (internal, external, RTOs) to schedule and deliver training
• Deliver training to meet TNA compliance
• Tracking training compliance and currency for all site personnel
• Assisting in the development, review and implementation of training materials, packages and site procedures
• Supporting standardisation of training processes
• Supporting department leadership with competency assessments and training plans
