Job summary

Golden West Apprenticeships is seeking a Training and Employment Coordinator to build strong relationships with apprentices and local businesses, manage a diverse caseload across Dalby, Kingaroy and surrounding areas, and support the full lifecycle from commencement to completion.

You will work with a supportive team, promote apprenticeships, and help connect jobseekers with skilled staffing solutions while maintaining records in the apprenticeship management system.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated and able to prioritise workload autonomously.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Working with Children Check or ability to obtain prior to commencement.

As a Training and Employment Coordinator, you’ll play a dynamic and influential role, where no two days are the same.You’ll be responsible for supporting the creation of future apprenticeship opportunities for young people and mature aged jobseekers.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a full-time Training and Employment Coordinator, you will:

Build and maintain effective relationships with both apprentices / trainees and local businesses.

Manage a caseload of apprentices and trainees across Dalby, Kingaroy and surrounding areas.

Oversee and support all aspects of an apprentice’s lifecycle, including commencement, mentorship and support, work-based performance, training delivery and completion.

Develop and maintain a comprehensive client base to engage apprentices and trainees.

Maintain accurate records within the apprenticeship management system.

Skills, Abilities and Experience

Ideally, the successful candidate possesses the following skills and attributes:

Knowledge or an interest in the employment / apprenticeship sector.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.

A passion for promoting apprenticeships, trade training and Golden West’s services within the local community.

Self‑motivated, enthusiastic, able to prioritise workload and work autonomously.

Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft office.

Possession of a driver’s licence.

Working with Children Check or ability to obtain prior to commencement.
