Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering operational training within a mining environment.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) required.
• Workplace Skills skill sets and related qualifications emphasized.
• Strong understanding of mining training, competency and compliance requirements.
• Experience conducting competency assessments and providing feedback and coaching.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

We're seeking an experienced Operational Training Officer to join our team and deliver and coordinate training and competency programs across a mining operation.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced trainer who is passionate about developing people, maintaining high safety standards and supporting the ongoing capability of the operational workforce.

About the Role

Requirements

• Solid mining industry experience
• Previous experience delivering operational training, assessments and competency programs in mining
• Ability to work effectively within an operational mining environment
• Willingness to complete site requirements, including pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening where required
