Evolution Mining invites applications for a Senior Training Advisor at Cowal Gold Operations. You will lead training, competency and workforce development across Cowal, shaping training frameworks and compliance to lift performance.

• Lead and continuously improve the Cowal Mine Training Scheme and learning systems to support operational excellence.
• Drive workforce capability through training needs analysis, competency development and strategic training initiatives.
• Ensure training compliance aligns with legislative requirements, site expectations and safety management systems.
• Mentor and develop a team of Training Advisors and Trainer Assessors to enhance capability and performance.
• Influence leaders across the business to strengthen workforce competency, engagement and continuous improvement outcomes.

As our Senior Training Advisor, you'll lead the evolution of training, competency and workforce development across Cowal Gold Operations. Working a family-friendly 5:2/4:3 roster, with flexible roster arrangements considered for the right candidate, you'll play a key role in shaping the future capability of our workforce while enjoying a strong work-life balance.

Reporting to the Superintendent - Safety & Health, you'll:

• Lead and continuously improve the Cowal Mine Training Scheme and learning systems to support operational excellence.
• Drive workforce capability through training needs analysis, competency development and strategic training initiatives.

• Mentor and develop a team of Training Advisors and Trainer Assessors to enhance capability and performance.

Does this sound like you?

• Tertiary qualification in a training related discipline.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in training, learning and development or workforce capability roles.
• Experience within mining, resources or heavy industry environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor, coach and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of training compliance, competency based frameworks and relevant legislation.
• The ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and influence outcomes across all levels of an organisation.

Highly regarded:

• Experience with INX, Moodle or similar learning management systems.
• Experience conducting training needs analyses, skill gap assessments and training audits.
• Exposure to strategic workforce planning and capability development initiatives.
