Evolution Mining Cowal Gold Operations in NSW is hiring a Trainer Assessor to lead onboarding, training and competency development, helping workers stay safe and perform at their best. You’ll deliver engaging training across field and site teams, conduct assessments, and support training systems while working a 5:2/4:3 roster with regional NSW living and relocation benefits.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent.
• Experience delivering training, inductions, coaching, mentoring or competency assessments.
• Operational mining/processing/training background preferred.
• Familiarity with training management systems is advantageous.

This is your chance to play a hands on role in developing the capability, confidence and safety of our workforce. As a Trainer Assessor, you'll be at the forefront of onboarding, training and competency development, helping employees build the skills they need to work safely and successfully across our operation.

Working a 5:2/4:3 residential roster at our Cowal Gold Operations, you'll enjoy the benefits of regional NSW living while making a real impact on workforce development and operational performance. While this role is advertised as a 5:2/4:3 roster, we recognise great talent doesn't always fit a standard schedule, so alternative roster arrangements may be considered. This is an exciting opportunity to combine your operational experience with your passion for coaching and mentoring others while contributing to a safe, high performing mining operation.

Reporting to the Senior Training Advisor, you'll:

• Build workforce capability through effective onboarding, training and competency development programs.
• Deliver engaging one on one, field based and group training across operational teams.
• Conduct competency assessments and verification of competency activities that support safe and productive work practices.
• Support the ongoing development of training systems, records and compliance requirements.
• Partner with leaders and crews to strengthen skills, knowledge and operational performance.
• Promote a strong safety culture through practical coaching and mentoring in the field.

Does this sound like you?

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or Enterprise Trainer/Assessor Skillset).
• Operational experience within mining, processing, maintenance or another heavy industry environment.
• Experience delivering training, inductions, coaching, mentoring or competency assessments.
• Familiarity with INX/Quartex Intuition or similar training management systems would be advantageous .
