Job summary

Clintons Toyota, part of 4K Automotive, is hiring a Trainee Service Advisor at Gregory Hills. This entry-level role offers an opportunity to start or advance an automotive career while learning in a supportive team environment.

The successful candidate will be a customer service enthusiast with a NSW driver’s licence, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage time and tasks efficiently on a rotating schedule. Monday–Friday 7:30am–5:00pm, Saturdays 7:30am–12pm with overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a customer-focused mindset with ability to handle inquiries professionally.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management and organisation to manage bookings and deadlines.
• Proactive and able to navigate multiple tasks and priorities.
• Comfortable using computers and standard software for service departments.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers and provide outstanding service.
• Manage service bookings and liaise with Workshop Controller to ensure timely completion.
• Keep customers informed of costs and completion times per KPIs.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally.
• Explain work completed and costs clearly to customers.
• Follow standard procedures and manufacturer warranty requirements.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Trainee Service Advisor to join our team at Gregory Hills. This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to enter or take the next step in their automotive career!

Key Responsibilities:

• Be the friendly first point of contact for customers, providing outstanding service and support.
• Manage customer enquiries and service bookings and work closely with the Workshop Controller to ensure vehicles are completed and returned on time.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service process, including any changes to costs or completion times, in line with department KPIs.
• Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally, aiming for the best possible outcome every time.
• Deliver vehicles back to customers with clear explanations of the work completed and associated costs, helping build trust and long-term relationships.
• Complete all tasks in line with standard procedures and manufacturer warranty requirements.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm

Saturday mornings: 7:30am to 12pm. Paid at overtime rates on a rotating roster

The right candidate will have:

• A passion for automotive and excellent customer service skills
• A valid NSW drivers licence (required!)
• High level of communication skills, incorporating written and oral communication.
• Influencing and negotiation skills.
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Computer savvy
