Ambrose Construct Group in Townsville is seeking an aspiring Estimator Supervisor to join our expanding team. Move from the field to estimate, schedule and supervise trades while delivering outstanding customer service.

You will report to the Construction Manager, receive structured training on our technology, and have opportunities for career growth with a focus on safety and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to learn estimating, scheduling and supervision.
• Strong understanding of building practices (NCC/WHS advantageous).
• Proactive, detail-oriented with a good work ethic.

The Opportunity

• Report directly to the Construction Manager.
• Learn how to estimate, schedule and supervise trades and repairs.
• Exceed KPIs through structured training using our industry-leading technology.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

• Insurance or estimating experience is not essential - we will teach you the technical skills.

Mandatory Requirements

• Cert III in Carpentry or strong building-related experience (Essential).
• Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction and willing to apply for a QBCC Supervisors Licence (Essential).
• A willingness to learn estimating, scheduling and supervision.
• A basic understanding of building practices (knowledge of NCC/WHS advantageous but can be taught).
• Confident with computers and mobile devices and able to learn new systems quickly.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to high-quality outcomes.
• Proactive nature with a strong work ethic.
• A strong commitment to safety and working as part of a KPI-driven team.
