Job summary

Ambrose Construct Group in Hervey Bay is seeking an experienced Estimator/Supervisor to lead insurance building repairs from start to finish. You will estimate, schedule and supervise projects while coordinating with the Construction Manager and client stakeholders.

This role requires a Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction, QBCC Supervisor Licence, and hands‑on experience in estimating, scheduling and supervising repairs.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills are essential.
• Experience estimating, scheduling and supervising repairs.
• Knowledge of NCC, building regulations and WHS requirements.
• Current White Card and Driver Licence.
• Commitment to safety and high attention to detail.
• Able to learn new systems and operate efficiently.

The Role

What You’ll Need

• Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction (Essential).
• Willingness to obtain a QBCC Supervisor Licence (Essential).
• Cert III in Carpentry (Highly regarded).
• Current White Card and Driver Licence.
• Experience estimating, scheduling and supervising repairs.
• Knowledge of NCC, building regulations and WHS requirements.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office + ability to learn new systems).
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Strong organisation and time management.
• Commitment to safety.

Insurance experience and water claims knowledge are advantageous but not essential.
