Ambrose Construct Group in Toowoomba is seeking an experienced Estimator/Supervisor to lead insurance building repairs.

You will estimate, schedule, and supervise projects from start to finish, collaborating with the Construction Manager and building client and trades relationships. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and exceptional customer service in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction is essential.
• QBCC Supervisor Licence is required or willingness to obtain.
• Carpentry qualification is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Estimate, schedule and supervise insurance building repairs.
• Manage jobs from start to finish with quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the Construction Manager.
• Build strong relationships with clients, trades and stakeholders.
• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve issues promptly.

The Role

• Estimate, schedule and supervise insurance building repairs.
• Manage jobs from start to finish, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Work closely with the Construction Manager.
• Build strong relationships with clients, trades, and stakeholders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues effectively.
• Meet and exceed KPIs using our industry-leading systems.

What You’ll Need

• Cert IV or Diploma in Building & Construction (Essential).
• Willingness to obtain a QBCC Supervisor Licence (Essential).
• Cert III in Carpentry (Highly regarded).
• Current White Card and Driver Licence.
• Experience estimating, scheduling and supervising repairs.
• Knowledge of NCC, building regulations and WHS requirements.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office + ability to learn new systems).
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Strong organisation and time management.
• Commitment to safety.

Insurance experience and water claims knowledge are advantageous but not essential.
