Job summary

SMART is seeking an experienced Vehicle Estimator to advance their career in a growing, national accident repair network. The role is based at the Mile End workshop in Australia and involves assessing and estimating repair costs, coordinating with the production team, and communicating with customers and suppliers.

Training is provided, and a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork underpins daily tasks. Applicants should have prior automotive repair experience in repairs, refinishing, assembly,

Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive repair industry – repairs, refinishing, assembly, mechanical, or dismantling.
• Good literacy skills with the ability to follow documented repair methods.
• Solid computer skills and professional written communication.
• Ability to work to timeframes while motivating and supporting the production team.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a solid team player.
• Full Australian work rights required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and estimating vehicle repair costs accurately and efficiently.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced automotive professional that is looking to advance and grow their career as a Vehicle Estimator.

If you are in a similar automotive parts, assembly, repairs, or mechanical and looking for a change of pace or a change from being on the tools, your industry experience has led you right here.

Permanent position. Monday to Friday. Training provided with a great team.

Previous automotive experience in a similar field a MUST.
