Job summary

SMART is seeking an Automotive Assembler to join the Laverton workshop on a full-time, Monday-to-Friday roster with guaranteed overtime and weekends off. You will work with our experienced team to reassemble vehicles, refit panels and door trims, and ensure quality repairs in a modern, well-equipped facility.

You'll need previous experience in automotive repair, a strong commitment to safety, and a detail-oriented approach.

• Previous experience in automotive repair in a technician/mechanic role.
• Strong commitment to working safely.

Responsibilities

• Reassemble vehicles in accordance with documented procedures and processes.

• Carry out ad hoc duties as directed by leadership.

We are looking for a skilled Automotive Assembler to complete our Laverton team.

Looking for a permanent role with no weekends? Like guaranteed overtime and an early finish on Friday?

Join our team. Monday to Friday, 45 hours - your overtime guaranteed!

You will work alongside our technicians and assist in the stripping of cars and refitting their panels and door trims.

What You'll Do:

• Reassemble vehicles in accordance with documented procedures and processes.
• Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability.
• Any ad hoc duties throughout the workshop as directed by leadership.
• Ensuring the vehicle is cleaned in accordance with documented processes and procedures.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in the automotive repair industry in a similar technician or mechanic role.
• Strong commitment to work in a safe manner.
• Dedicated to quality repairs and customer service.
• High attention to detail.
• Reliable, punctual team player.
• Have full Australian work rights.
