Job summary

SMART is seeking an experienced automotive professional to advance their career as a Vehicle Estimator. This permanent, full-time role is based at our Mile End workshop, Adelaide, with Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours and training provided by a great team.

Previous automotive experience in a similar field is a MUST. You will assess and estimate repair costs, work with the production team to deliver quality outcomes, and communicate professionally with customers and suppliers while prioritising

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience in repairs, refinishing, assembly, mechanical or dismantling.
• Ability to follow documented repair methods.
• Good literacy and written communication.
• Solid computer skills.
• Ability to meet timeframes and support the production team.
• Reliable, safety-conscious and team-oriented.
• Full Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Assess and estimate vehicle repair costs accurately and efficiently.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced automotive professional that is looking to advance and grow their career as a Vehicle Estimator.

If you are in a similar automotive parts, assembly, repairs, or mechanical and looking for a change of pace or a change from being on the tools, your industry experience has led you right here.

Permanent position. Monday to Friday. Training provided with a great team.

• Experience in the automotive repair industry – repairs, refinishing, assembly, mechanical, or dismantling
• Good literacy skills with the ability to follow documented repair methods
• Solid computer skills and professional written communication
• Ability to work to timeframes while motivating and supporting the production team
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and a solid team player
• Full Australian work rights required
