Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning offers a Trainee Educator program across its Australian centres. This full-time fixed-term role (18 months) supports you to pursue a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care while gaining hands-on experience with children, families and the centre team.

You will work under the supervision of the Centre Leadership Team, develop classroom skills, contribute to the education program and build a positive work culture.

Qualifications

• Willingness to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• Permanent right to work in Australia
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Interest in early years education
• Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training
• Immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (or willingness to receive)

To be eligible for a Traineeship you are not able to hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificateother than in childcare will still be eligible.

• A permanent right to work in Australia

• Proof of immunisation against Measles, Mumps and RubellaandWhooping Cough (Pertussis)(or be willing to receive)
