Goodstart Strathfieldsaye is offering a Trainee Educator position in Victoria. This 18-month fixed-term traineeship supports you to study toward a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care while gaining hands-on centre experience.

You will work with a Centre Leadership Team to foster safe, engaging learning environments, build strong relationships with children and families, and contribute to the education program.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to work permanently in Australia.
• Willingness to study towards Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care.
• Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain one.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko platform.
• Immunisation against Measles, Mumps and Rubella and Whooping Cough (Pertussis) or willingness to receive.

To be eligible for a Traineeship youare not able toholda previousCertificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Applicants who have completed a school-based certificate other than in childcare will still be eligible.

In addition, you must have:

• The willingness and motivation to study towards aCertificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care
• A permanent right to work in Australia
• Good timemanagement and organisational skills
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude
• Interest in early years education
• Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain one)
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform
