Job summary

Synapse ITS is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to deliver world-class hardware support for Synapse ITS products, handling initial questions, guiding customers step-by-step, and processing warranty RMAs. This role uses ticketing, CRM, ERP systems and requires strong communication.

Ideal candidates have hands-on electronics experience, familiarity with ITS traffic solutions, and excellent customer-facing skills. The position may involve occasional on-site support and travel as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum two years in hardware technical support.
Experience with ITS or traffic-related hardware preferred.
Experience documenting manuals or training materials preferred.
Experience as a signal technician is highly preferred.
Customer-facing communication skills must be strong.

Responsibilities

Provide timely and accurate troubleshooting guidance.
Open/track/close issues using a ticketing system.
Collaborate with engineering and marketing to develop training content.
Generate reports for product management and engineering.
Capture recurring issues with clear reproduction steps.
Train distributors, contractors, and internal staff on installation and maintenance.
Provide on-site support or training as needed.
