Job summary

Synapse ITS is seeking a Technical Support Specialist in Tamworth, NSW to deliver world-class hardware support for Synapse ITS products. You will answer queries, guide customers through installation steps, and use ticketing/CRM/ERP tools to resolve issues and process warranty RMAs.

Strong communication and technical aptitude are essential, with exposure to traffic calming solutions and ITS systems. Responsibilities include collaborating with engineering/marketing to develop training content,

Qualifications

Two+ years in hardware technical support.
Experience with traffic calming solutions or ITS is preferred.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams to create training materials.

Responsibilities

Provide timely, accurate troubleshooting, diagnostics, and installation guidance.
Collaborate with engineering and marketing to develop training tools and manuals.
Use a ticketing system to open, track, and close issues.
Provide feedback to product management for feature requests and fixes.
Identify recurring issues and document steps for reproduction.
Generate reports and maintain records in internal systems.
Train distributors, contractors, and staff on installation and maintenance.
Occasionally provide on-site support or training.
