Job summary

Synapse ITS is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to deliver world-class hardware support for Synapse ITS products. You will handle troubleshooting, installation guidance, and warranty processing, using ticketing, CRM, and ERP systems to resolve issues and improve documentation.

The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a solid technical background in electronics hardware and software, with preference for those familiar with ITS traffic solutions.

Qualifications

• Two (2)+ years in hardware technical support
• Experience with traffic calming solutions or ITS preferred
• Experience developing technical manuals or training materials preferred
• Signal technician experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate troubleshooting guidance to customers
• Use ticketing/CRM/ERP systems to manage issues and RMA claims
• Create content for training tools, manuals, and knowledge portals
• Capture recurring issues and escalate with clear reproduction steps
• Train distributors, contractors, and internal staff on product installation and maintenance
• Provide on-site support or training as needed
