Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills with Excel; Python or SQL is a strong plus.
• Interest in automation and improving front‑office processes through technology.
• Knowledge of equities and equity derivatives, or proven solid foundation with ability to learn quickly.
• Finance or investment coursework is preferred.
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile trades, transactions, and positions.
• Prepare and submit delivery instructions for proprietary trading.
• Maintain positions, P&L, and real-time desk information.
• Support operational processes to meet regulatory and exchange requirements.
• Use algorithmic trading tools under trader instruction.
• Update and maintain trading systems, proprietary applications, and Excel tools.
• Liaise with traders, brokers, dealers, and internal teams.
• Assist with pricing, execution, recaps/reporting, and post-trade issue resolution.
• Contribute to automation and process-improvement projects.
• Operate effectively on the trading floor and stay composed during time-sensitive situations.
