Job summary

Susquehanna is seeking an Operations Technology Analyst to join our Trading Operations team in Sydney. You will bridge business workflows with Technology, building solutions and collaborating with engineering on scalable platforms.

You’ll work across the full lifecycle from problem understanding through development, testing and deployment, with a focus on AI-enabled architecture and end-to-end processes in a global trading environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related technical discipline is required.
• Typically 3–5+ years’ experience in software development or technology-enabled operations.
• Strong programming capability with Python, SQL or similar languages.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test and maintain technology solutions to improve Trading Operations.
• Translate operational problems into technical solutions bridging between Operations and Technology teams.
• Develop applications and automate processes using Python, SQL and other technologies.
• Contribute to AI-informed architecture and explore AI-native approaches where applicable.
• Apply sound engineering principles across architecture, design, scalability, maintainability, testing and integration.
• Rotate across Trading Operations to understand trade lifecycle and business processes behind technology.
• Support projects and day-to-day activities to identify technology-led improvements.
• Contribute to building the Operations Technology capability across APAC.
