Job summary

Based in Boral's Orange Grove Quarry and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Tradesperson to work our day shift. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain on site production facilities and equipment to a high standard to enable optimum production performance and safe operations.

This role may involve shift work and weekends with a loading penalty. The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, installation works on new

Qualifications

• Experience in installation and maintenance in industrial environments.
• Quarry or commercial industrial experience is desirable.
• Industrial fault-finding skills required.
• Exposure to plant control systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in line with policies and procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and testing during planned shutdowns.
• Carry out site installation and upgrades of equipment.
• Plan jobs and assess required tools and parts.
• Assist with quotes and ordering parts as needed.

Based in Boral's Orange Grove Quarry and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Tradesperson to work our day shift. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain on site production facilities and equipment to a high standard to enable optimum production performance and safe operations.

This role may involve working shift work and weekends which will be compensated with a loading penalty.

Your Day will involve:

• Work safely in line with Boral’s policies and procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance, inspections and testing in planned site shutdowns.
• Carry out site installation works on new equipment and upgrades of existing equipment.
• Carry out job planning, including assessing required work equipment, etc.
• Assist with requests to organize quotes and order parts as required.
  
  
  

What we are looking for:

• Installation & Maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Quarry and Commercial Industrial experience are desirable but not necessary.
• Industrial fault-finding experience.
• Exposure to plant control systems
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Flexibility for overtime hours if required.
• Crushing/screening/conveyor experience highly regarded
