Job summary

Boral Limited is seeking an experienced Fixed Plant Tradesperson based at the Orange Grove Quarry to maintain on-site production facilities and equipment for optimal performance and safe operations.

The role may involve shift work and weekend hours, with a loading penalty. You will perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and installation work on new and upgraded equipment, while planning jobs and coordinating with parts and quotes as required.

Qualifications

• Installation and maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Quarry/Commercial industrial experience desirable.
• Industrial fault-finding experience and exposure to plant control systems.

Your Next Opportunity

Based in Boral's Orange Grove Quarry and reporting to the Maintenance Manager, we are looking for an experienced Fixed Plant Tradesperson to work our day shift. Primary responsibilities will be to maintain on site production facilities and equipment to a high standard to enable optimum production performance and safe operations.

This role may involve working shift work and weekends which will be compensated with a loading penalty.

Your Day will involve:

• Work safely in line with Boral’s policies and procedures.
• Complete preventative maintenance, inspections and testing in planned site shutdowns.
• Carry out site installation works on new equipment and upgrades of existing equipment.
• Carry out job planning, including assessing required work equipment, etc.
• Assist with requests to organize quotes and order parts as required.

What we are looking for:

• Installation & Maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Quarry and Commercial Industrial experience are desirable but not necessary.
• Industrial fault-finding experience.
• Exposure to plant control systems
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Flexibility for overtime hours if required.
• Crushing/screening/conveyor experience highly regarded
