Job summary

Driveline Services Australia is seeking a reliable Trades Assistant for the Beresfield, NSW branch. You will support the mechanical workshop and warehouse, including parts handling, packing, and dispatch.

You will operate with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and teamwork, assisting tradespeople and maintaining a clean, organised work environment.

Qualifications

• Manual Driver’s Licence is essential.
• Forklift Ticket is essential.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and safety focus.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Pressure washing of industrial parts and components.
• Delivery and collection of parts in company vehicle.
• Maintain workshop and warehouse cleanliness and organisation.
• Assist in warehouse operations: unpacking/packing, dispatch packaging.
• Support tradespersons in the mechanical workshop as required.
• General duties to keep workshop and yard tidy.

Trades Assistant – Workshop/Warehouse - Driveline Services Australia, Beresfield branch

About the role

Driveline Servicesis seeking a reliable and motivated Trades Assistant for ourBeresfield, NSWbranch. The successful candidate will play an important role in our team to deliver high-quality service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

• Pressure Washing of Industrial Parts and Components.
• Delivery and Collection of Parts and Components in company Vehicle.
• Maintaining Workshop and Warehouse cleanliness and Organisation.
• Assist in Warehouse operations including unpacking and packing of Stock deliveries, Packaging parts and components for dispatch.
• Other General Duties required to maintain an organised, clean workshop and yard.
• Assist Tradesman in a mechanical workshop as required.

Essential

• Manual Driver’s License
• Forklift Ticket

Highly regarded but not essential

• Sound Mechanical aptitude
• Previous experience in assisting with warehousing duties
• Experience using Bandsaw, Grinders, impact tools and other mechanical hand tools.
• Previous experience as a Trades Assistant in a Mechanical Workshop or similar
• Industrial painting experience
