Qualifications

• Experience as a Trade Assistant or labouring role, ideally in mining.
• Current driver’s licence (manual preferred) and reliable transport.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.

Join the Strike Force Services team as a Trades Assistant! Based on our customer site, you will support experienced tradespeople with a variety of maintenance and housekeeping activities while helping to maintain a safe, productive, and well-organised work environment.

This is a casual role, making it ideal for someone seeking work-life balance, or ongoing site-based work without the commitment of full-time hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople with general housekeeping and trades assistant duties.
• Follow all Strike Force Services and client site policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure they remain in safe and effective working condition.
• Keep work areas clean, organised, and hazard-free.
• Work collaboratively with team members while also being able to work independently when required.
• Previous Trade Assistant or labouring experience within the mining industry.
• Current driver's licence (manual licence preferred) & reliable transport.
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

• Working Safely at Heights certification.
• MDG25 certification.
• Current Order 45 Medical.
