Job summary

JOBSTAR PTY LTD is seeking a dedicated Trades Assistant to join our Morisset warehouse setup business on a permanent full-time basis. You will assist in installing and repairing racking systems and work alongside experienced tradespeople to support project execution.

Role requires a trade certificate or relevant experience; drawing software is desirable. You should be physically fit, ready for manual labour, and able to learn new software.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Trades Assistant to join our team at our Morisset warehouse setup business, specializing in the installation and repair of various warehouse racking systems. This role requires either a trade certificate or prior experience as a Trades Assistant, however if you are young or older, as long as you are eager to learn we would encourage you to apply.

The Role: The successful candidate will assist in various tasks related to the installation and repair of racking systems.

Key responsibilities include: Working alongside experienced tradespeople to support project execution. Utilizing drawing software applications for project planning and execution (desirable).

Demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to learning. Performing manual tasks including labouring, with a focus on accuracy and safety. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Requirements: To succeed in this role, you should: Have a trade certificate or relevant experience as a Trades Assistant Preferred but not essential.

Possess experience using drawing software applications or the willingness to learn. Be physically fit and willing to undertake manual labour. Be computer literate and capable of learning new software programs.

Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a strong work ethic. Reside within the Central Coast Council area of NSW. Hold a valid driver's license and have access to your own vehicle due as there is no close public transport.
