Job summary

David Hill Industrial Group seeks a dedicated Trades Assistant to join our team at the Toukley office and Morisset warehouse. You will support experienced tradespeople in installing and repairing racking systems, and you may learn drawing software for project planning.

Ideal candidates hold a trade certificate or have proven Trades Assistant experience, are physically fit for manual labor, and reside on the NSW Central Coast.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or relevant experience as Trades Assistant preferred but not essential.
• Willingness to learn drawing software or related tools.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual labour.
• Computer literate and able to learn new software programs.
• Reside within Central Coast NSW or Morriset Council areas for easier commute.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have access to a vehicle due to limited public transport.
• Experience in spray painting, welding, or workshop environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced tradespeople with project execution.
• Utilise drawing software for project planning and execution (desirable).
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a proactive learning approach.
• Perform manual labour with focus on safety and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace.
