Job summary

Work Ready Recruitment seeks a Trades Assistant to help build, assemble and install structures on commercial and infrastructure projects across NSW and interstate. Regular travel may be required.

Pay ranges from $32 to $45 per hour depending on experience, with living away from home allowances provided. The role involves assisting with portable buildings, awnings and walkways, plus travel to different job sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, labouring or a trade certification.
• Ability to use tools safely.
• Willingness to learn, strong work ethic and reliability.
• White Card
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Willing to travel for work
• Trial period may be put in place initially, however you may start on a full time basis depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Load and move materials, tools, and equipment
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials
• Support carpenters and other trades
• Use hand and power tools safely
• Help with site setup and pack-down
• Travel to different job sites within NSW and Interstate
