Job summary

Accuweigh in Brisbane, QLD, is seeking a Trades Assistant for a full-time, on-site position to support installation, maintenance and servicing of industrial weighing equipment. You will assist technicians with setup, perform basic mechanical/electrical work, and prepare tools and materials for jobs.

You will help with calibration/verification activities, complete routine checks, and document job details for compliance.

Qualifications

Role Description

The Trades Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Brisbane, QLD, supporting the installation, maintenance, and servicing of industrial weighing and measurement equipment. Day-to-day tasks include assisting technicians with equipment setup, basic mechanical and electrical work, safe use of hand and power tools, and preparation of tools, parts, and materials for jobs. The role involves helping with calibration and verification activities, performing routine checks, and recording job details accurately for service and compliance documentation. The Trades Assistant will also support site cleanup, adhere to workplace health and safety procedures, and interact with customers in a professional manner while representing Accuweigh on client sites.
