Job summary

Accuweigh in Brisbane, QLD, is seeking a Trades Assistant for a full-time, on-site position to support installation, maintenance and servicing of industrial weighing equipment. You will assist technicians with setup, perform basic mechanical/electrical work, and prepare tools and materials for jobs.

You will help with calibration/verification activities, complete routine checks, and document job details for compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial or field service environment is beneficial.
• Ability to follow instructions and work safely with tools.
• Good communication with technicians, teammates and customers.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians with equipment setup and basic mechanical tasks.
• Perform basic electrical work and safe handling of hand and power tools.
• Prepare tools, parts and materials for jobs and service calls.
• Support calibration and verification activities and record job details.
• Maintain site cleanliness and adhere to health and safety procedures.
• Interact with customers professionally while representing Accuweigh.
