Job summary

Metro North Hospital & Health Service in Brisbane is seeking a dedicated facilities professional to provide a 24/7 monitoring and response service. You will support the safe, reliable operation of engineering plant, building services and infrastructure across RBWH, prioritising patient safety and clinical priorities.

Work alongside skilled tradespeople, engineers and contractors, respond to after-hours maintenance issues, and help maintain hospital operations through preventative maintenance,

Responsibilities

• Respond to diverse facilities and engineering requests across shifts.
• Collaborate with trades, engineers and contractors to gain hands-on experience.
• Be the first responder for after-hours maintenance issues to keep the hospital safe.
• Use problem-solving to assess issues, prioritise urgent requests and implement solutions.
• Contribute to preventative maintenance, monitoring and rapid response to maintain operations.

• Work alongside skilled tradespeople, engineers and contractors while building hands-on technical experience.
• Be the first responder for after-hours maintenance issues, helping keep a major hospital safe, operational and patient-focused.
• Use your problem-solving skills to assess issues, prioritise urgent requests and coordinate effective solutions.
• Play a vital role in maintaining hospital operations through preventative maintenance, monitoring and rapid response support.
