Metro North Health is seeking a dedicated professional to provide 24/7 monitoring and rapid response support for engineering plant, building services and infrastructure across RBWH. You will respond to maintenance issues with a focus on patient safety and clinical priorities, working with trades, engineers and contractors to keep the hospital safe and operational.

The role emphasizes preventative maintenance, monitoring and quick problem resolution to support continuous patient care.

• Respond to a diverse range of facilities and engineering requests, with no two shifts the same.
• Work alongside skilled tradespeople, engineers and contractors while building hands-on technical experience.
• Be the first responder for after-hours maintenance issues, helping keep a major hospital safe, operational and patient-focused.
• Use your problem-solving skills to assess issues, prioritise urgent requests and coordinate effective solutions.
