Job summary

Metro North Health in Brisbane is seeking a senior leader to drive patient safety, governance and strategic alignment across the health service in Queensland. You will partner with executive directors and service directors to implement national standards, strengthen policy and lead complex governance initiatives, while ensuring safe, high-quality care.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Solve large-scale, complex patient safety problems through recognised expertise and high-level interpretation of existing health service systems.
• Establish and sustain strategic partnerships and networks with key internal and external stakeholders using expert level negotiation and influence to set and align to state-wide and national policy and practice standards.
• Apply advanced leadership and management skills to facilitate strategic development of consensus policy across professional, specialist and institutional boundaries.
• Demonstrate advanced communication skills commensurate to the seniority of stakeholders (executive directors, service directors) to achieve target outcomes.
