Description du poste

The Supply Officer is responsible for undertaking a range of inventory management and supply distribution activities that ensure clinical areas across Metro North Health have timely access to essential supplies and equipment. Based within the Metro North Supply Division at the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital, the role supports safe, responsive and high-quality healthcare delivery through efficient supply chain operations.

The successful candidate will manage stock ordering, receipting, distribution and inventory activities while working closely with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders. The role also contributes to resolving supply issues, maintaining stock availability, undertaking administrative support functions and delivering a high standard of customer service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

• Perform inventory management activities including stock ordering, receipting, stock rotation and stocktakes for clinical departments.
• Receive, unload, pick, pack and distribute clinical supplies and equipment to support healthcare services.
• Identify and resolve supply chain issues including delivery discrepancies, backorders, pricing variations and invoicing concerns.
• Provide high-level customer service and maintain effective relationships with clinical staff, non-clinical staff and suppliers.
• Undertake administrative and supply system tasks including requisitions, reservations and inventory records management.
