Qualifications

• MR/HR class licence required to operate transport tasks.
• Current forklift LF licence essential for material handling.

Are you a reliable, safety‑focused Trade Assistant looking for a stable town‑based role with plenty of variety?

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys practical work, operating forklifts, assisting trades, and being part of a supportive team that values safety, mateship and high standards.

Responsibilities

As a Trade Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day logistics and yard operations, including:

• Loading/unloading trucks and handling parts and materials
• General labouring, housekeeping, and yard/workshop upkeep
• Assembly and dismantling work
• Following all safety, environmental and quality requirements
• Completing job paperwork, risk assessments and daily documentation
• Maintaining equipment, vehicles and PPE to company standards

This is a town-based position with consistent hours and no requirement for FIFO/DIDO.

The successful applicant will have:

• MR or HR Class Driver’s Licence
• Current Forklift Licence (LF)
• Current Dogging Licence (Desirable)
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant industry experience
• Strong safety focus and adherence to procedures
• Solid work ethic, reliability and commitment to high standards
• Ability to work effectively in a team with varying supervision level
• Problem solving and decision‑making skills
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
