Job summary

SRG Global is seeking a Trade Assistant to join our team in Gladstone, QLD on a casual basis. You will assist with a range of trade and maintenance support tasks to support our site-based teams.

Key responsibilities include preparing and maintaining sites, assisting with installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, and supporting onsite work crews while ensuring compliance with safety and legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• Current Driver’s Licence
• White Card
• Working at Heights and Confined Spaces tickets
• Previous Trade Assistant experience
• Australian working rights
• Able to pass a 3-site Blue medical including Drug and Alcohol Screen

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain sites including organising work areas, cleaning up after jobs, ensuring tools and materials are ready for use
• Assist with the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment as instructed
• Provide support to onsite work crew and tradesmen
• Ensure compliance with company and legislative requirements
• Perform other general duties as directed by the Site Supervisor, within your level of competence

The successful applicant will ideally have
