Job summary

UGL Regional Linx is seeking a Track and Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership across corridor access activities supporting the NSW CRN network. You will work with engineers, planners, government agencies, developers, councils, and industry partners to ensure safe, practical, and sustainable outcomes for the network and communities.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil preferred).
• Strong technical and engineering assessment skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating or influencing multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborative mindset with a commitment to safe, sustainable outcomes.
• Strong organisational, systems, and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support the Corridor Access team to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes.
• Provide technical advice for third-party works and corridor access proposals.
• Review proposals against CRN standards and assess safety risks.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary assessments across track, civil, structural, signalling, telecommunications, geotechnical, maintenance, and operational stakeholders.
• Collaborate with applicants, utilities, councils, and internal stakeholders to resolve challenges.
• Offer clear engineering advice and recommendations that support informed decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, templates, and engineering practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining safety, compliance, and asset integrity.
