Job summary

UGL Regional Linx in NSW North Shore & Northern Beaches is seeking a Track and Civil Engineer to provide technical leadership across corridor access engineering, supporting CRN network projects and interacting with government agencies, developers, councils and industry partners.

You will guide decision-making, review proposals, coordinate multidisciplinary assessments across track, civil, structural, signalling, and telecoms, and promote safe, sustainable outcomes while developing your team's

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Civil preferred).
• Strong technical and engineering assessment skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience coordinating or influencing multidisciplinary teams.
• Collaborative mindset and a commitment to safe, sustainable outcomes.
• Strong organisational, systems, and reporting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality engineering outcomes for corridor access.
• Provide technical advice for third-party works, development applications, corridor access proposals.
• Review proposals against CRN standards and asset management principles.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary assessments with track, civil, structural, signalling, telecommunications, geotechnical, maintenance, and operational stakeholders.
• Collaborate with applicants, designers, utilities, councils, and internal stakeholders to resolve technical challenges.
• Provide clear engineering advice and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement across systems, processes, templates, and engineering practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining safety and asset integrity.
