Job summary

Macquarie Group in Australia is seeking a Manager, Third Party Risk Management, Product Owner to lead the supplier onboarding and risk assessment capabilities. You will own the product, define direction, prioritise the roadmap, and collaborate with SGOs, Risk, Procurement and Technology to deliver outcomes that meet regulatory requirements and provide a strong user experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner for an enterprise SaaS platform or experience in third-party risk management.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into clear technical requirements and work closely with engineers and external software providers.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills across global teams with competing priorities.
• Ability to prioritise pragmatically, manage expectations and build strong relationships in a complex environment.
• Strong understanding of financial services regulatory requirements and third party risk management practices.
• Drive continuous process improvement and simplify complex risk workflows to enhance user experience while maintaining compliance.
• Strong project management skills, including day-to-day experience using Jira and Confluence to manage product roadmaps and deliver sprints.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of an enterprise product and shape its evolution.
• Set product direction, prioritise the roadmap, and drive ongoing improvements to processes and technology.
• Collaborate with SGOs, Risk, Procurement and Technology teams, plus external providers, to translate requirements into product outcomes.
• Ensure the platform delivers effective services, regulatory compliance and a strong user experience across the organisation.
• End-to-end ownership across the product lifecycle with internal and external tech teams.
• Improve onboarding workflows by coordinating with upstream/downstream platforms.
