Job summary

Alpha Heavy Towing in Kemps Creek is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher/Allocator for a full-time PM shift to coordinate a heavy vehicle fleet across NSW. You will allocate and dispatch jobs, communicate with drivers and customers, and ensure timely updates and accurate entry of job details.

The role requires knowledge of Sydney suburbs/roads, experience in transport coordination, and a mechanical mindset. Weekend availability is required when needed to keep trucks moving.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport allocation, dispatch or logistics coordination.
• Strong knowledge of Sydney suburbs and roads.
• Familiarity with different truck types and combinations.
• Mechanically minded.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the real-time status of jobs and trucks.
• Allocate jobs and dispatch drivers based on location, truck type and availability.
• Communicate with drivers and customers, providing clear updates and ETAs.
• Price jobs and accurately enter job details into our systems.
• Coordinate multiple jobs and trucks at the same time.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues, delays and changes during the shift.
• Monitor driver movements and ensure jobs are progressing as required.
• Liaise with customers, workshops, transport companies and other stakeholders.
• Ensure all job information is accurately recorded and updated.

About the role

Alpha Heavy Towing is seeking dedicated and reliable Dispatcher/Allocator to join our Kemps Creek team.

In this full-time PM shift role, you will be responsible for the efficient allocation and coordination of our heavy vehicle fleet, ensuring timely and reliable towing services for our clients throughout NSW region.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the real-time status of jobs and trucks
• Allocate jobs and dispatch drivers based on location, truck type and availability
