Job summary

Service Stream seeks an ITS and Tolling Systems Technician to support operation and maintenance of tolling and motorway ITS deployments.

Based in NSW, you will work across tolling, ITS devices, CCTV, VSLS, VMS, METS, IP networks and field equipment, performing fault finding, preventative maintenance and incident response.

This role offers long-term career stability and growth within a specialist transport technology environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT, OT or technical support environments.
• Experience diagnosing faults across hardware, software and communications.
• Understanding of IP networking fundamentals (Ethernet, switches, connectivity).
• Experience using diagnostic apps and monitoring tools.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 support for tolling systems and roadside equipment.
• Monitor alarms and perform remote diagnostics and on-site fault investigations.
• Support ITS assets such as VSLS, VMS, CCTV and METS.
• Use tools to assess system health and perform service recovery activities.
• Diagnose hardware, software, networking and comms faults.
• Record defects and maintenance in the Asset Management System.
• Coordinate with control rooms, vendors and support teams during incidents.
